Sparklo sets reverse vending machines that accept plastic bottles and aluminium cans. For each bottle/can you get points, which you can then exchange for various bonuses with partners.

The mobile app will show how much you have recycled, how much CO2 you have saved, and what your ranking is compared to other users — gamification, in a word. So, recycling is not just useful and cool, but also interesting.
